Greetings all,
I was wondering if anyone can help steer me in the right direction or simply reccommend a book. I am looking for a book that gives a simple overview of the different tribes that use ayahuasca( shipibo,UDV santo daime ,shuar and ect... ) and their differences in beliefs and their differences in approach in using the sacred vine. If anyone knows of such a book i would greatly appreciate the feedback.

If you can wait a few months, check out my forthcoming book, Singing to the Plants: A Guide to Mestizo Shamanism in the Upper Amazon, which is, I think, pretty much the sort of thing you -- and, I hope, a lot of other people -- are looking for.

You can get a preview at www.singingtotheplants.com/.

Not that I am blowing my own horn or anything. :-)
