Well, I visited his store one night, he gave me the same download that was written on Tripadvisor and other sites that speak about him. That my aura was orange and green and some purple and that I absorb everything from my shoulders, and how his necklaces would heal me...Nothing positive. All problems, even though a green and purple aura which is good, from what i have read. He gave the necklace to take with me and try it... I can pay him later he said.  So I took it. Went to my hotel and googled him and found out he told me the same stuff as everyone else. The stone that he calls a Fire Opal from Maldonado is dichroic glass... fake!
So I went back to him two days after that since the store was closed, to give it to him back. We talked for a long time, then he offered me another pendant instead. Previously he had told me about this other pendant "that I was not ready for until I wore the opal one for 4months". But now he wanted me to take it. All of a sudden I was ready for it... This is the baby condor feather one with the seven metals others have spoken about...
I became more and more skeptical, he talks about all the other people being "Showman not Shaman" but it is kinda his vibe too... :(
When I gave him the first necklace he took in the back and brought the condor feather one and the opal one, but he switched it.... He told me some of the stones on the back had changed color and that it was working... I checked out and indeed they changed but it was because he swapped it. This is when I lost all faith. It's so sad that people like that are out there taking advantage of others in the name of spirituality and health... He is very charismatic and sweet, very likable.... Just not a just person...
Also the article in BootsNAll, which he uses as a reference and shows people about how legit he is. The info above is different than what he told me... His Father Zuni and mother Inka, his wife is Inka too... So, this article is helping this con-man get away with ripping people off...
He also states that all the bad reviews people wrote about him are other Shamans and Gringos with Ayahuasca Tours that are trying to make him look bad, since he is good...
So please beware.... Btw the necklaces are $220, would you let anyone walk from a store with a piece that expensive without payment....
Are there ANY  REAL Shamans left in Peru????

    Wow what a scammer...
It makes me think why seek that out? We sort of create those spiritual scam artists with our desires and ignorance. It's money in a sense and capitalism that allows these guys to exist in the first place.
In a moneyless tribal setting a guy like this wouldn't be doing his thing because nominee would support a shaman who's work was shit, and had no integrity. We on the other hand in our social and economic systems reward people like this...

I remember reading in Stephan's book "Singing to the Plants" about a native American shaman. When this shaman was communicating with the spirits the hut they were sitting in would begin to shake as though it were a sign that the spirits were truly there. The Western researcher saw the shamans hand on the pole of the hut physically shaking it and thought the shaman was a phoney. When the researcher interviewed members of the shamans community it was revealed that they all knew that the shaman himself was responsible for shaking the hut but believed it had little to do with the shamans ability to speak with the spirits and perform healing.

To me this is one of the most interesting concepts in Stephan's book. The idea that thinly veiled slight of hand is actually part of the ceremony and for indigenous people it is not necessarily a sign of someone being a charlatan. This is quite different to the western mind who views things such as this through the lens of science and quickly parses slight of hand into the quack category.

More and more I've found myself a little less western in my thinking in this realm which has lead to greater enjoyment of ceremony at large. Almost as though it were an art and something I can appreciate in and of itself.

Bravo Jesus de Jairo! Keep up the good work.

    ;-)

Having been in Peru for decades, I could see the trouble coming, with the introduction of Western-style, hard-core Capitalism. There is so much corruption down there it's disgusting and disturbing. However, most of the "enlightened ones" on this tribe become very defensive if one criticizes the money aspect of Ayahuasca. I've heard some of the lamest defenses, such as "They're entitled to make a living; What's wrong with money? They (Gringoes) are down there saving the rainforest.", etc. Many of these so-called Gringo shamans take full advantage of the low salaried down there while t the same time they are charging exhorbitant prices and putting on their dog-and-pony shows that smack of falsehood and disingenuousness.

The whole problem springs from the introduction of Western greed and Gringo self-importance. We have gone down there and wired the whole experience, showing these wonderful people what we're all about. I made the mistake of introducing certain curanderos to the greed and acquisitiveness for which we are so famous. It has been a corrupting experience, for which I don't blame them.

You have to go down and spend time to find real people, and I reccommend completely rejecting the b.s. of the internet- friendly albergues that claim to have the answers to your spiritual problems or quests. They are for the most part false, as are the phony people up here who write books and spend the bulk of their time with self promotion and self glorification. The first mention of big bucks should send up red flags.

But Aya is there and She awaits. The truth is free.

One tip-off to watch is people claiming they are Inca (or Inka). "Inca" refers to the royal family of the Inca Empire, so if someone tells you they are Inca, they are saying they are royalty. So if both his mother and his wife are members of the royal family, then he may be commiting incest ... but that's okay, since the Inca kings used to marry their own sisters.
