crockpot brewing

so i've been experimenting with some crockpot brewing, letting 150g of vine and 50g of dried chacruna cook for 2 washes at 24hours per wash...
i add no vinegar and use water from a mountain stream which supplies my drinking water. when reduced down the brew is dark reddish brown, syrupy, and tastes and smells like good ol madrecita.

upon consumption, the effects of the vine are felt clear and strong, but the chacruna is strikingly weak or absent.

so my theories are:

1) the water is acidic enough to extract the MAOIs but not the DMT? is this possible? i plan to test it when i can get to town and buy some ph strips, i believe it should be 4-5 correct?

2) the leaf is old and weak, and i need either a better leaf source or much more leaf.

3) she has decided that visions are a distraction and not what i need right now (i can understand and accept that gladly, the hours of relaxation and bliss all coiled up in the vine are plenty great)

any ideas or similar issues out there?

No enough leaf' dry chacuna is variable' I use 100 chacruna of dried leaf'
I can see no problem with the water ph' unless it is real high'
Traditionaly the amazon water is acidic' but the pKa of the alks in chacruna is 8.6 ph'
So 4-5ph is plenty low enough' and your cook time sounds good also'
The vine only takes a few hours'
I like to cook with bubbles and let it soak over nite'
Then wash and cook it again' and let it soak for another day'
    Dry leaf is unpredictable'

    Many Blessings
