I imagine the snakes must be very much related to the caapi vine as it's the only component of ayahuasca I have been able to try as it very hard to obtain in my neck of the world & even I saw a snake. I was only using it to see if it potentiated cactus (which I don't think it does btw). I was lying on my bed, just pleasantly dosed, and decided to put on some jajouka music which is my favourite music to enhance a journey with. Soon after entering into the spirit of the music, I realised that jajouka is really very much snake charmer music - with lots of tooting horns and such. This is music I have listened to many times before and it was the first time such thoughts had entered my head. Then, eyes still open at this stage, I became aware of a whipping, coiling sensation happening around me like a wind. When I then closed my eyes I was truly amazed to flash upon a large headed snake with brillant eyes snaking it's way up my body towards me! Unfortuately at this very same instant my sphincter decided to loosen and I then was consumed with toilet details and I never got into the same frame of mind afterwards. After my first ceremonies, I started to have animals come into my dreamspace, as guides I believe. One dream was of a very large anaconda (about the size of a train as well) that came around a bend on a dirt road. I was behind a window that spanned a huge wall where I was standing with a group of people. Everyone started to panic. I just stood and waited with amazement. Men were trying to control the anaconda outside and coral her with sticks. She kept coming down the road, stopped right in front of me and turned bringing her head to face me, looking me directly in the eys. I remember feeling love and amazement for her and telling her this. Then, I walked away from the window with a sense that she was about to shatter the glass on us. Next, I was at the top of a mesa looking across the gorge where I saw a carving of this same anaconda in the side of the cliff. Like the mountains were made of her movement.

Images of large snakes and jaguars are very common in Ayahuasca visioning, regardless of the cultural background of the drinker. It seems to be a part of the "language" of Mother Ayahuasca - very powerful symbolic language she uses to communicate and to teach us with. I encountered a large snake (the size of a train) that I mounted, like riding a horse. It took me through a maze of blue-lit tunnels and into the deeper levels of visioning - eventually into the presence of Mother Ayahuasca herself.

What great visions Patrick I encountered a great anaconda as well.. It did not want to play with me. It opened it's mouth and showed it's inner workings.. I got really emotional Then two points of light descended and healed me. They taught me about the universe. And told me next time I visit I should take someone with me. A life-changing experience. I am full of gratitude, and since have a new view on life, passion and spirit. Peace Geert

HOOO How many people have seen anacondas or DNA with Ayahuasca? I'm curious to know, because supposedly its a reoccurring theme. My shaman said I would see anacondas and the ayahuasca vine, I saw both of them. I saw an anaconda and it turned into a vine. Then the vine turned into the coiled DNA. Back into a vine and into an anaconda again. From there I could see inside the anaconda. His entire ribcage spread out like a platter and his internals. Saw many other things, but this stands out to me the most. I was wondering if anyone else had anything similar? -Pat
