The story of Jesus is inspiring, but for wisdom's sake ya gota know the history of language which, combined with use of psychedelic plants, empowers anyone who believed Jesus was always and would always be better than you. And sure, when you choose to stare Jesus down from the Heavens you'll get what you deserve. It's not a simple walk in the park, it's more like survival in the jungle because it's the rare few who actually believe in the power of psychedelics. Nobody will listen, they're just plants and mushrooms they'll say. And therein lies the problem. Earth gets no respect. People got TV to watch. The burden of the psychedelic pioneer is to compete with the entertainers and I'm hopeful. If you can't make psychedelics entertaining for people they won't listen. It's a shame, but it's the truth.

Re: Jesus and Psychedelics: A Match Made in Heaven
Mon, August 3, 2009 - 1:22 PMthat's what santo daime is combining singing and dancing, ayahuasca and christianity. part revelation, part brainwashing, the core is split and the gold within revealed. -

Re: Jesus and Psychedelics: A Match Made in Heaven
Mon, August 3, 2009 - 2:12 PMi feel uncomfortble with the word "psychadelic". to me, iimplies something you'd drop at a Greatful Dead show and dance. and that's fine. but an ayahuasca ceremony isn't a party.
although im sure many have seen/felt Christ with the aid of the medicine, as well as other deities that help with that person's individual journey.
Amen. ;)

Mon, August 3, 2009 - 3:36 PMI'm a little curious Sunny why you're posting the exact same topic here as you did in the Shamanism tribe.
In that one you never responded after the original post. What's up? What are you looking for? -

Mon, August 3, 2009 - 4:09 PMThat makes three tribes for this one! The comments on it have certainly been very different on the Psychonauts tribe--and I find that interesting.....

Tue, August 4, 2009 - 3:29 AMThe original meaning of "psychedelic" is mind-manifesting, which Ayahuasca obviously is. -
