parthenon is now something like $25 very very high for iquitos though convenient location as far as conference goes because it is right there.

In my experience finding a hotel costing more than 30 dollars a day would be harder than finding one that did :)

Yes, I stayed at El Parthenon during the conference last year. $15/night, can't ask for a better location in relation to the conference. Highly recommendable.

there are too many hotels here..... and the website has many listed: www.soga-del-alma.org click on shamanism conference most will stay at the Conference hotel, El Parthenon It has around 80 spaces.

I will be at the conference next month – this is my first time in Peru. I’m having trouble finding a reasonable hotel (~$30.00/day). A friend recommended Maranon but that did not work out. I’d appreciate some recommendations. Many thanks!
