the possibility of dependence on Aya

I began drinking almost 7 months ago. After my first ceremony I went back monthly for more healing, more visions, more downloads of wisdom and more reprogramming. These past 7 months have been super intense to say the least.... I'm now feeling a call from somewhere within to allow myself to step back and allow myself to live a little more lightly over the summer than I have been since Halloween night. The intense confusion and sense of being torn by the idea of not taking part in ceremony for the next few months has thrown me for a total loop. I'm at a loss and am wondering whether this might mean I've become psychologically dependant on her? Any thoughts on this?

Namaste,

    An obsession perhaps..?
Confusion comes from the mind.. at that point you experience your self..
I can only speak from personal experience... but the altered senses are only applicable when taken back to normal state.. It is in that state where you work day to day... The altered state can also be an escape from daily pain and struggle..

I suggest write down what you have learned and ground yourself properly so you know where you are in your life and what the knowledge is you have obtained.. What you were, what you became, and what roads are clear ahead of you... Being opened up is a transformative power you can use for so many things, ask your self where can you apply what you know..

If you meditate on it in normal state you will be able to give the experiences more context.. more reason, more strength...

What have your experiences been like so far?
    Blissful, crazy, terrifying?
The need for more reprogramming isn't bad, if you feel you need it you probably do. Maybe what you need is a strong, overwhelming dose. After one of those you will likely not feel like partaking again any soon.

Or, maybe some integrating is in order. Have you tried or considered meditation? After like 50 experiences with Aya, I find I can achieve these states without ingesting anything (obviously not as intense). These days when I drink. it's Caapi-only brews for specific somatic work.

Sometimes being dependent is healthy. To rely on someone who lifts your consciousness, or someone who loves you and strengthens you with their love and support isn't really a detriment. I miss those I love when I know I won't be seeing them for awhile, and I long to be with them again when I can.

dont think its a physical dependance, but perhaps an attachment to the positive things gained and expeirenced with the aya..

time without the medicine, to integrate and practice what has been learned is a great idea..it will always be with you..
