I´ve always found your blog to be a fantastic read and based on this excerpt I think reading you book will be a pleasure as well.

I found it interesting about how you differentiated yourself as not being a ´patient´ of the medicine but rather to learn the medicine. I was initiated into my instruction as a helper to a curandero before I had ever been in a ceremony and my training began with my first cup. I listen to others discuss what they have experienced in the ceremonies and understand what they tell me, but my experience in the ceremony has never been even remotely similar to what others describe.

Have you noticed a difference in your experiences as you´ve learned the medicine?
