While I firmly believe that visionay plants and fungi were used hand in hand to attain spiritual experience, I don't believe every spiritual experience can be convniently packaged and explained away this easily. The whole "Christ was just a mushroom" stuff seems to undermine the content and complexity of history, but I do think entheogen use in religion has been unfairly censored by those who are afraid of it.
