It is with great sorrow that I inform you that Pablo Amaringo passed away in the early hours of this morning. Apparently he had been quite ill, but had seemed to be improving.

This is a great loss to us all.

I will pass along any additional information as I receive it.

    Too bad..
    I really love his paintings.and philosophies..
    I'm still looking for a copy of his book of visions..
    Everywhere i turn it is not available anymore.
    Perhaps in his memory it will be reprinted..

      Wonderful spirit! In 1994 my friends and I had a great stay with him in Pucallpa at his Usko Ayar Amazonian School of Painting where he shared much of his work and story with us, and we saw the good work being done there by his students. He also sent us to excellent ayahuasqueros for several evenings of the medicine. I wrote about our experiences there in "Las Noches de los ayahuasqueros" published in CSP's anthology, "Psychedelic Sacramentals."
