preferably music i can access, other sounds welcome. anything. i wish i could post sound files here or at least link to them at some online archive but i have not been able to find one. any suggestions? i would like to archive my recordings from the jungle in peru and ecuador. and offer up the links.

While I don't think it's the stuff for Aya dreams, it works amazingly for other journeys.
If you haven't heard it already, I guarantee there will be at least a few tracks on there somewhere that will freshen your mind up nicely!!

I assumed Trent Reznor would have gotten the okay on that. That surprized me. I still think it goes well on that soundtrack though regardless. AND, honestly, that is the first time I had ever heard of Nusrat. If he wasnt on there I may have never discovered him.

It remains one of my favorite Nusrat songs although I do love his more upbeat stuff too. I love the way some of his songs have heavy guitar in them. Reminds me of Enigma. I still love Enigma too. -

Most of the popular CD's are just short versions of his songs since in traditional Rai music, the songs go on for a long time. It's well worth it to search out his CD's that are more authentic as well. They really soar.

Ik, for hats I mostly use samples and then pass them through some compressor, eq, and panning/delay FX. I think I put some distortion to chunk them out a bit.
I also used a falling air sound which I gated the tail to make it a kinda rhythmic high frequency pattern (like a hat). Is this what you are refering to?
Embrace, I am glad you like the site. It is still a work in progress. I am planning on having a shipibo pattern fade in and out when you switch between pages, but its taking longer than expected to get finished. -

As the title probably implies, I wrote this song from direct inspiration by the brew. The vocals are by my partner, and it is complete with Icaros and Buddhist chants. It was done for a sound healing program and has encoded brainwave entrainment elements and other esoteric healing technologies...
