i am in search of a reputable and conscious company to supply amazonian herbals for my chiropractic and holistiic patients. i have found Raintree herbals (www.rain-tree.com/) so far to be conscious and sustainable and they work with the shipibo-conibo. just looking for feedback. good company to go with? other suggestions? thanks!

Re: use of rainforest herbs in holistic western practice
Mon, August 11, 2008 - 6:47 AMThey don't appear to be MLM which is a big plus. If they are walking their talk it seems like a good company. Very large selection of herbs, extracts, and formulas. Prices seem fair. Hopefully they pay fair prices for the raw herbs in the jungle.

Tue, August 12, 2008 - 11:05 AMLooks like Andy's bullshit...
If you are looking for wholesale...the best I've found is researchbotanicals. Tim is still serving some time, but I've heard good things about Eric. researchbotanicals.com . There are also suppliers in South America, but I can't really recommend any one in particular. That's if you are going wholesale. I'm retired from that market, but I can let you know about any of them, if you have any questions. I've dealt with them all.
p.s. Don't fall for the shipobo bullshit. :) -

i just recently met the owner of this company, a sweet, peruvian woman who lives here in oregon. the preparations might be easily used in western practice.
